Fatemeh Yazdandoust

An award-winning architect and urban designer renowned for her expertise in sustainable and innovative concept design

Fatemeh Yazdandoust holds a graduate degree in architecture and urban design from Iowa State University and the City College of New York. With several years of experience ranging from schematic design to construction supervision, she has demonstrated innovative concept design and received recognition, including an honorable mention for the Obama Presidential Library. Her concept design for the Red Crescent Headquarters has also been published in e-architect, an online magazine.
Passionate about sustainable design, Fatemeh applies these principles to her projects and lifestyle. She possesses knowledge of sustainable design strategies in both theory and practice, employing various techniques from passive solutions to material reuse. Always pursuing creative future-thinking ideas, she is currently interested in taking a holistic approach to creating spaces that inspire a sense of unity.
Furthermore, Fatemeh has served as a jury member for various competitions, including the Haiti Collaborative Housing Competition.
